Agree what needs to be measured

Inspection starts with the drawing and the features you need checked.

1.0Before production

We agree the drawing revision, critical dimensions and any report you need before the job enters the schedule.

2.0During the job

The agreed plan sets the first-piece and in-process checks. We raise a question when a requirement needs clarification.

3.0Before dispatch

We check the finished quantity and the agreed inspection records before packing.

4.0An illustrative report

Part reference: SAMPLE-01. Revision: A. Feature: overall length. Nominal: 120.00 mm. Allowed variation: ±0.10 mm. Measured example: 120.03 mm. Result for this one fictional feature: within the stated interval.

Method, equipment reference, inspector and date are fields in a real agreed report, not proof supplied by this demo.

5.0Different documents, different questions

A 3.1 material certificate is a request for evidence about the stock. A dimensional report records named finished features. Ask for the document and scope you need; availability is confirmed before quoting.
