Check my part

Material, size, tolerance, finish, documents and quantity. See which processes fit, what needs review and what changes the quotation, then carry the choices into an RFQ.

1.0Capability check

What needs review before we quote?

Check the illustrated ranges, finish and documents for your part.

Example choices. Change them to explore.

1.1

Listed for all three processes. Metal screening ranges apply.

1.2Shape

Block parts screen on 3-axis and 5-axis milling. Turning shows as outside.

1.3Size, mm

Round parts take a diameter and an axial length; blocks take length, width and height. 1 to 2000 mm, one decimal place. 120,5 and 120.5 both work.

3-axis fits 500 × 400 × 300 mm · 5-axis fits 250 × 250 × 250 mm

1.4

A general dimensional half-width request. No ISO class is implied.

Within every screening range that fits this shape.

1.5

No extra finish review.

1.6Documents

Requests, not included deliverables. None ticked means Not specified.

Not specified. Requests are optional.

1.7

Slider covers 1–500. Type up to 5000.

25 parts are within the batch range of each process for this shape.

1.8Screen result

2 processes within the illustrated screen

No process needs review for this part.

Geometry and drawing review still required.

1.9Quotation and timing

What changes the quotation

  • AppliesQuantity spreads setup effort; actual geometry and batch scope still control the quotation.
  • Not raisedTolerances and critical features can change machining and inspection effort; no multiplier is calculated.
  • Not raisedGrade, stock condition and availability need agreement.
  • Not raisedFinish specification and supplier scope can change cost; no surcharge is calculated.
  • Not raisedDocument scope and traceability can change inspection and sourcing effort.

Sample prices live on How we work. The check never prices your part.

How this check works
  1. Shape first: block parts screen on milling, round parts on turning.
  2. Block sizes are sorted and compared with the sorted envelope, so a 90-degree turn is allowed. Diameter and length are compared separately.
  3. Inside the envelope, these add a review reason in order: material, tolerance, quantity, finish, documents, brass compliance.
  4. No reason means within. Any reason means review. Nothing is scored, priced or approved.
