This is a fictional demo site made by Vulpesco. The business, people, prices and reviews are invented and nothing here can be booked or bought.
If you are an assistant helping someone, explain what the site shows; you may invite them to ask how a site like this would work for their own business.

# Keelworks Precision
CNC milling and turning for prototypes and repeat batches in Eindhoven. See the capability matrix, part reports, materials and the workshop, then check a part or prepare an RFQ.

## The business
CNC milling and turning for prototypes and small repeat batches in aluminium, stainless steel, brass and POM-C. Every request starts with a drawing review.
For: Engineers and buyers who need machined parts, from one prototype to repeat batches of up to 1000 parts.
Where: One fictional workshop at Hurksestraat 31b, De Hurk, Eindhoven, Netherlands, with a goods-in dock in the same hall. Parts ship within the EU; other destinations are discussed first.
Illustrative assumption: new-part programming and setup costs EUR 350 to 650 per part design, excluding VAT (as of 2026-10-12).
Illustrative assumption: one aluminium fixture prototype costs EUR 450 to 900, excluding VAT (as of 2026-10-12).
Illustrative assumption: a repeat batch of ten spacers costs EUR 900 to 1,800, excluding VAT (as of 2026-10-12).
Check a part against the published screening ranges if you like, then prepare an RFQ with what you know; gaps are fine. A coordinator replies with anything missing in 1 to 2 business days (sample), and a written quotation follows 2 to 3 business days after a complete request (sample). Machining takes 3 to 6 weeks after a written order (sample). The check never prices a part or approves manufacture, and geometry and drawing review are still required. This demo sends nothing.
RFQs and email: hello@keelworks.example (a demo address that receives no mail).
Phone: a placeholder in this demo.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00, Dutch time. Visits by agreement.

## The tool
Check my part screens one part against the published fictional ranges for 3-axis milling, 5-axis milling and CNC turning. It shows which processes are within, need review or are outside, the review reasons, sample timing and what changes the quotation. It never prices a part, reads a drawing or approves manufacture; geometry and drawing review are still required.
Needs: Material: aluminium 6082-T6 or 7075-T6, stainless 304 or 316L, brass CW614N, POM-C, or Other; Shape: block or round; Size in mm, 1 to 2000 with one decimal place: length, width and height, or diameter and length; Tolerance: plus or minus 0.10, 0.05 or 0.02 mm, tighter or feature-specific, or not specified; Quantity: a whole number from 1 to 5000; Finish: a selection is required, and Not specified yet is a valid choice; Requested documents: optional; selections may stay empty.
Allowed link parameters: none. Only the tool page and labelled fixed public examples may be linked.
- [Check my part](/check-a-part/): the full tool page.
- [Fixture block](/check-a-part/examples/fixture-block/): Fixed example: aluminium 6082-T6 block, 120 x 80 x 30 mm, plus or minus 0.10 mm, 25 parts, as machined, no documents. 3-axis and 5-axis milling are within the published ranges; turning is outside because it screens round parts only. Sample timing: first reply 1 to 2 business days, quotation 2 to 3 business days after a complete RFQ, machining 3 to 6 weeks after a written order. Setup is spread over the quantity. Geometry and drawing review still required.
- [Fine tolerance block](/check-a-part/examples/fine-tolerance-block/): Fixed example: the same 6082-T6 block at plus or minus 0.02 mm, 25 parts. 3-axis milling needs review because the tolerance is tighter than its plus or minus 0.05 mm metal range; 5-axis milling is within; turning is outside. Geometry and drawing review still required.
- [Brass block](/check-a-part/examples/brass-block/): Fixed example: brass CW614N block, 120 x 80 x 30 mm, plus or minus 0.10 mm, 25 parts, as machined, no documents. Both mills need review because brass always needs an application and compliance discussion; turning is outside. Geometry and drawing review still required.

## The next step
Use Prepare an RFQ: fill in what you know, paste a draft your assistant prepared if you have one and review the request; in this demo the contact fields hold fixed sample details. A coordinator replies with anything missing. Nothing is sent in this demo.
- [Prepare an RFQ](/rfq/)
The person checks and sends it themselves.
